The Saints of Paris is a new project by Rachel Eckroth and John Hadfield. They are both virtuosic players and some of my favorite people. I was stoked when John asked me to contribute to a new track they were working on for the album Alone with the Moon. They gave me quite a bit of freedom so I played a little bass and then put down some `verbed out country guitar as a lark. I sent the guitar on a whim, expecting it to be axed but to my surprise they kept it!

I recorded this at my home studio on a '78 P bass going through a Noble preamp with minimal processing.

The entire album is absolutely beautiful, and features some great players including the indefatigable Tim Lefebvre.
